The pope, Hurricane Sandy and the next potential mayor were all targets at Mayor Michael Bloomberg's final "Inner Circle" dinner.

Bloomberg took to the stage in Midtown with the casts of Broadway's "Rock Of Ages," "Nice Work If You Can Get It," "The Phantom Of The Opera" and "Annie."

The show's title, "Last Gulp," mocked Bloomberg's proposed ban on the sale of big sugary drinks.

The mayor joked he was appointing himself pope but reneged, saying he has been a chief executive so long, he doesn't know if he could have a number-two position to God.

The show closed out with a rendition of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing," with a city twist.

The annual "Inner Circle" show is a charity fundraiser put on by current and former City Hall reporters.

NY1's Bob Hardt, Courtney Gross and Polly Kreisman were among the performers. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
