Police in the Bronx were searching Thursday for a missing teenager with autism.
Rosura Tavera last saw her son, 13-year-old Ross Harrison, leaving their home on 182nd Street in University Heights on Tuesday evening.
She believes someone at school may have bullied her son, as on Tuesday he told her that he did not want to board the school bus.
"It's very hard because right now I feel very tired," said Tavera. "Three days that I don't sleep, I don't eat. I'm just thinking about my son, where he's at," said Tavera.
Tipsters in Harlem told a neighbor of Tavera that they saw Ross in the neighborhood as recently as Thursday morning.
Ross is described as being about 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighing 130 pounds, with short black hair, gray eyes and a thin build.
He was last seen wearing a black sweater, black shirt, black pants and brown sneakers at the time of his disappearance.
Tavera said her son also answers to the name John Carlo, and may try to run if he is approached by strangers.
