Videotaped testimony from a trained shoe bomber who tried to carry out a terrorist plot of his own was played Monday at the trial of a Queens would-be terrorist.

Saajid Badat's testimony was shown at the trial of Adis Medunjanin.

Medunjanin is accused in a 2009 plot orchestrated by admitted terrorist Najibullah Zazi to detonate suicide bombs in the city's subways.

Badat said Osama bin Laden told him he hoped a follow-up to the September 11th attacks would collapse the U.S. economy.

He also testified bin Laden said a shoe-bomb plot could ruin the aviation industry.

Badat was convicted in London for plotting to down an American Airlines plane from Paris to Miami with shoe bombs in 2001.

Medunjanin is also accused of going to Pakistan to receive terror training from al-Qaida in order to kill U.S. soldiers.

His lawyer says his client is not guilty.

Medunjanin faces life in prison if convicted.
