Some Port Authority police officers are raking in the overtime hours.

Figures released Friday show that 66 Port Authority officers have made more than $200,000 this year.

One low-ranking patrolman at the George Washington Bridge earned $221,000 this year on a base salary of $90,000.

Another sergeant pulled in $265,000 dollars, more than most Port Authority executives.

A union representing Port Authority police say the high levels of overtime are necessary to cover for the lack of officers.

The Port Authority has not yet commented on the numbers.
