A 24-year-old man was being questioned in connection with a deadly shooting in Far Rockaway, Queens on Sunday.

Police say violence broke out at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday on Hassock Street in Far Rockaway.

When police arrived on scene, they found Ramel Gittens, 19, with a gunshot wound to the chest.

He was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital.
