The parents of a swimsuit designer, who was found dead at an upscale Manhattan hotel last year, saw their daughter's accused killer for the first time Tuesday.
Sylvie Cachay's parents attended Nicholas Brooks' court appearance in Lower Manhattan.
"I didn't see any remorse. He didn't look at me or my husband. He just was there," said Cachay's mother, Sylvia Cachay.
"He didn't face us. He didn't care. He looked like he was just guilty," said Cachay's father, Antonio Cachay.
Cachay was found in a bathtub at the SoHo House on December 9.
The medical examiner ruled she was strangled and drowned.
Brooks faces murder charges in connection with his former girlfriend's death.
He faces up to 25 years to life behind bars if convicted.
Brooks is due back in court on April 26.
