Subway riders looking to take the number 2 train this weekend should give themselves some extra time to get around.

Service between Manhattan and the Bronx is suspended until 5 a.m. Monday because of planned work.

Trains will run from Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn to 96th Street in Manhattan, where they will be rerouted along the 1 line to 137th Street.

Passengers can take shuttle buses at 96th Street to 149th Street in the Bronx, where they can grab the 5 train.
