The trial for the four men accused of plotting to bomb synagogues in the Bronx will begin June 14th in a federal court in Westchester.

At a court hearing Thursday, the defense says it needs time to go through volumes of video and voice recordings.

The lawyers appear to be trying to prove entrapment by the government. They demanded prosecutors turn over evidence of any payment, promises, or other inducements offered to the defendants.

"There's a lot of holes in this case. And the tone of the courtroom, you can see, if you was in the courtroom, you can see that it's like Mickey Mouse. It's Mickey Mouse. It's not strong at all," said David Williams III, whose son is charged in the plot.

David Williams, Onta Williams, James Cromitie, and LaGuerre Payen were arrested in May.

Authorities say they planted what turned out to be phony explosives supplied by an FBI informant outside a synagogue in Riverdale.

They say the man also planned to use guided missiles to shoot down military planes in Newburgh.
