The elderly son of philanthropist Brooke Astor was rushed to the hospital today, after falling in the Manhattan courthouse where he is on trial for allegedly bilking millions from his mother's estate.
A court officer said Anthony Marshall, 85, hit his head in a restroom during a break in today's proceedings.
Marshall was taken out on a stretcher, wearing an oxygen mask but sitting upright.
The judge dismissed the jury for the day and told them not to speculate on the reason.
Marshall and a codefendant are accused of exploiting his mother's dementia to loot her nearly $200-million fortune, but Marshall denies the charges.
