NY1 Exclusive: Survey Of State Senators Shows Gay Marriage Bill In Jeopardy

As Governor David Paterson presses for a legislative vote on legalizing gay marriage, an exclusive NY1 survey of all 62 New York State senators suggests that supporters of the bill are facing an uphill battle in their fight to get it passed.

NY1 polled members of the Senate in June.

Here is the overall breakdown, with 32 votes needed for the bill to pass:
