Users of the popular website eBay will need to change their passwords after a cyber attack breached an encrypted database.

Hackers managed to steal some employee log-in credentials, giving them access to the corporate network and an undisclosed amount of user passwords.

EBay says the hacking took place sometime between late February and early March. So far there is no evidence of any theft of user financial or credit card information.

The company is currently working with law enforcement to investigate the breach.
