The amount of pollution in the air New Yorkers breathe appears to be on the decline.

The American Lung Association's State Of The Air 2013 report says ozone and soot levels improved in parts of the city since its last report.

Queens was the only county in the state where researchers say the "smog" grade actually got worse.

The report does cite several days where the ozone level spiked, creating issues for everyone, and not just those with breathing problems.
