There are only 141 days until open enrollment begins for the state's health insurance exchange, and now, it has a name.
It'll be called "New York State of Health."
Starting October 1, if you're uninsured or underinsured, or if you run a business with less than 50 employees, you'll be able to shop, compare and enroll for coverage.
The website is up on nystateofhealth.ny.gov.
Among other things, it has a map with the different coverage options around the state.
There's also a calculator that can estimate your premium and tell you whether you'reeligible for tax credits.
Donna Frescatore, the director of the exchange, said it's on track for the rollout this fall.
"Training for our customer service specialists has already started," Frescatore said. "They will be prepared to start answering questions from New Yorkers in mid-September. Through these efforts, all New Yorkers can be ensured that they will have qualified, trained individuals ready to assist them in all areas of the state."
New York State of Health also released the names of 12 dental plans that will be available.
