Singer and TV host Andy Williams has died.

Williams died Tuesday night at his home in Branson, Missouri after battling bladder cancer for nearly a year.

The Iowa native built a theater in Branson in 1992 and kept performing there after his diagnosis.

Williams began singing with his brothers as a boy before taking off a solo singer known for his easy style and silky voice.

Among his biggest hits was the song "Moon River."

Williams also hosted his own Emmy-winning variety show "The Andy Williams Show" in the 1960s.
