Serves: 2

1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 medium banana (frozen if you like) sliced
1/2 cup unsweetened pomegranate juice (see hints below)
1/4 cup raw quick cooking oatmeal (optional)

Add 1 cup frozen blueberries to the blender and 1 cup frozen strawberries and slice the frozen medium size banana and add that.....and add 1 cup nonfat plain yogurt and 1/2 cup of pomegranate juice.

Add an optional 1/4 cup raw quick cooking oat and stir everything together a bit before putting the lid on top and blending until smooth.

Then serve it up while it's still nice and cold.

Because this recipe calls for unsweetened juice, it can be a bit on the tart side. If you like you could add a little maple syrup to help sweeten it up a bit.
