NY1's weekly segment "Your Weekend Starts Now" shows entertaining picks for great things to do this weekend all around the city. NY1's Stephanie Simon filed the following report.

Harlem-Kingston Express at the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts
All aboard the Harlem-Kingston Express as virtuoso Monty Alexander combines jazz and reggae for a unique musical experience. Monty's Harlem-Kingston Express plays Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts this Saturday night. Tickets start at $30.

For everyone knows the ups and down of dating in the digital... check out the new one man show "Wing-Man," a new physical comedy one-man show by Mark Gindick about trying to find love through social media. And you don't even have to put your phone away during the show! Tickets are $20.

Julie James at 54 Below
Sirius Satellite Radio personality Julie James dishes the dirt and more in her one night only variety show tonight at 54 Below. It promises to be a fun evening. Tickets start at $25.

Suzanne Beahrs Dance at DanSpaceProject
Now through Saturday, see Suzanne Beahrs dance at DanSpaceProject at St. Mark's Church in the Bowery. It's an amazing setting to see contemporary dance. Tickets are $20.

Zigi Ben-Haim at NYU Kimmel Center
Also, explore new works by artist Zigi Ben-Haim at the NYU Kimmel Center galleries now though April 4. One exhibit is called Minding the Surface.

You won't want to miss a horizon installation by artist Doug Wheeler at David Zwirner Gallery's 20th street location. It feels like it goes on forever, but unfortunately, it's up only through April 5.

Greenwich Village Orchestra
On Sunday, March 30 at 3 p.m, the Greenwich Village Orchestra presents Barber's Adagio for Strings, the Barber Violin Concerto performed by returning virtuoso Hye-Jin Kim, and Prokofiev's Symphony No. 5, bringing the power and lyricism of two 20th century musical giants to the Washington Irving High School auditorium.
