This Friday night the Apollo Theater hosts a special Super Bowl week concert celebrating gospel and jazz and Black History Month with the likes of Regina Belle, Valerie Simpson and Arturo O'Farrill plus a slew of other great talents. Tickets start at $105.
Harlem Fine Arts Show
The Harlem Fine Arts Show runs Thursday through Sunday at Riverside Church showcasing an incredible array of artists, styles and mediums. Passes start at $20.
FLICfest celebrates full length feature dance performances. The festival is at The Irondale Center in Fort Greene, Brooklyn now through Saturday. Tickets start at $25.
National Dance Company of Siberia
For more dance entertainment the National Dance Company of Siberia is performing at the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts this Saturday night. Tickets start at $36.
Michele Lee at 54 Below
She may be best known to TV fans from her starring role on TV's "Knots Landing" but Michele Lee is playing 54 Below and reminding fans of her success in musical theater too, including the original "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" on Broadway. It's a night of great show tunes and more. Tickets start at $35.
Daphne Rubin-Vega at Cutting Room
Daphne Rubin-Vega, best known for originating the role of Mimi in "Rent", is playing the Cutting Room on East 32nd Street Monday night. Tickets start at $20.
Perceptual Motion by Klaus Lucka
The new work by world renowned photographer Klaus Lucka combines large scale photography and video. The exhibit runs at the David Rubenstein Atrium and at the Furman Gallery at Lincoln Center runs January 31st through February 4th.
WOW an Opera
BRIC Presents "WOW, a Milli Vanilli Inspired Opera" January 23rd through February 1st. Tickets are $15 in advance/$18 at the door.
