The New York Philharmonic unveiled Wednesday a full slate of innovative programming for its upcoming season.

The orchestra, under the direction of Alan Gilbert, says it hopes to showcase the variety of stories a symphony can tell by taking on projects like "Joan of Arc," which will feature Academy Award-winning actress Marion Cotillard.

The Orchestra also says that Josh Groban will be featured in the opening gala concert in September.

Philharmonic board member Alec Baldwin will also once again act as the artistic adviser for this year's film score series. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
