Under the Radar Festival at The Public Theater
It's the 10th Anniversary of The Public Theater's Under the Radar Festival. See the best in new theater at several venues across the city. Tickets to shows at the Public are just $20. The festival runs from now through January 19.
It's also time for the 10th annual Winter Jazzfest. This weekend, more than 90 groups will be performing around lower Manhattan, including Marc Cary Focus Trio, 3rd Eye 4tet, and Mark Guiliana's Beat Music. Individual tickets and festival passes are still available ranging from $10 to $95.
Regina Carter at Birdland
Sunday night at Birdland, see the incomparable jazz violinist Regina Carter. She is just extraordinary on stage. Tickets are $30 with a $10 minimum.
Chris Burden: Extreme Measures
At The New Museum, see the sleeper hit show of the fall, Chris Burden: Extreme Measures. His sculptures and installations take over the entire museum, and several large-scale works will stay on view after the show officially closes this Sunday.

At the 2014 New York Guitar Festival, legendary classical guitarist Pepe Romero will perform an all-Bach recital at Brookfield Place Winter Garden Friday night at 8 p.m., and admission is free.

Looking ahead to next Tuesday night, Cady Huffman is best known for he role in the smash hit "The Producers" on Broadway and as a judge on The Food Network's Iron Chef America. Well now, Cady brings a new show for music lovers and foodies alike to 54 Below. Tickets start at $30 with a $25 minimum.
Get on board the Love Train to see the O'Jay's at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts this Saturday night. They're bringing their distinctive soulful Philly Sound for one night only. Tickets start at $50. And if you don't take the Love Train, not to worry: parking is only $5.
