NY1's weekly segment "Your Weekend Starts Now" shows entertaining picks for great things to do this weekend all around the city. NY1's Stephanie Simon filed the following report.

All For One Theatre Festival
The All For One Theatre Festival celebrates solo performances continues now through early November at the Cherry lane Studio Theater. Tickets start at $25 or $150 for a festival pass.

Walls and Bridges Festival
The The Franco-American arts and ideas festival "Walls and Bridges" features more than a dozen free events in Manhattan and Brooklyn including film dance and discussions.

CMJ Music Marathon
The 33rd annual CMJ Music Marathon continues with dozens more performances in venues across Brooklyn and Manhattan. Headliners include the likes of Father John Misty and Sheppard. Festival passes start at $325.

Calpulli Mexican Dance Company
At the Queens Theater, the Calpulli Mexican Dance Company takes to the stage now through Sunday. Tickets start at $30.

Recuerdo Tango
Pace University presents the world premier of a three-part tango called Recuerdo Tango. It's at the Schimmel Center for the Arts. Tickets start at $30.

Concert of the Mind
Part magician, part mentalist Asi Wind brings his Concert of the Mind to the Axis Theater. Tickets start at $49.

Giant Pumpkin Carving
The world's largest pumpkin will be carved this weekend at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx.

"Girl with a Pearl Earring" on Display
Looking ahead to next week, Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring" made even more famous by the movie of the same name will go on view at the Frick Museum. It is the first time the iconic painting has been shown in New York City in 30 years.

Get On The Good Foot
