NY1's weekly segment "Your Weekend Starts Now" shows entertaining picks for great things to do this weekend all around the city. NY1's Arts reporter Stephanie Simon filed the following report.

The Armory Show

First up is The Armory Show itself at Piers 92 and 94 on Manhattan's West Side.

"It's divided into contemporary and modern art and you will need to spend a whole day there," says arts consultant Maureen Sullivan. "So satellites have spun off of that to be able to show emerging artists and to work in different spaces that get more the flavor of the way artists are working."

Tickets start at $30.

In one associated event, a trolley in the Bronx will also take visitors to Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum for more art. For a full schedule of Armory Arts Week events, visit www.armoryartsweek.com.

The Fountain Art Fair

The Fountain Art Fair is from Friday to Sunday at the 69th Regiment Armory at 25th Street and Lexington Avenue. It shows a slew of artists, including Pratt students whose work was damaged in the recent fire. Tickets start at $10.

Volta NY Show

Volta NY is at a new location, 82 Mercer Street, through Sunday. The focus there is on solo exhibits, allowing for a lot of work by individual artists. Tickets are $15.

Pool Art Fair

Pool Art Fair is at the Flatiron Hotel on West 26th Street from Friday through Sunday. Artists here are not represented by a gallery. It's a suggested 10 dollar admission

SCOPE New York

Spring Break in Old School

At Spring Break in Old School in Nolita, check out interactive installations that explore mysticism. Admission is $5.

Art Dealers Association Of America

The Art Dealers Association Of America is at the Park Avenue Armory. Admission is $25.

Anthony de Mare at Symphony Space

On Saturday night at Symphony Space, hear pianist Anthony de Mare reimagine the music of Stephen Sondheim. Tickets start at $15.

Richie Ray & Bobby Cruz at Lehman Center

On Saturday night, celebrate salsa at Lehman Center in the Bronx with the music of legends Richie Ray and Bobby Cruz. Tickets start at $30.

"American Showstoppers" at Schimmel Center

On Saturday night at The Schimmel Center for the Arts at Pace University, see "American Showstoppers." The Fred Barton Orchestra and special guests will perform the music of Jule Styne, including selections from his Broadway classics like "Peter Pan," "Gypsy" and "Funny Girl." Tickets start at $30.

Guerrilla Art By Marko Remec

In celebration of Armory Week, artist Marko Remec has set up what he calls a "guerrilla art installation" along West 24th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues. It's near the C24 Gallery on West 24th Street and will be up through March 14.
