NY1's weekly segment "Your Weekend Starts Now" shows entertaining picks for great things to do this weekend all around the city. NY1's Arts reporter Stephanie Simon filed the following report.

New Yorker Festival
The New Yorker Festival presents public conversations with a wide range of talents, including brutally frank and funny Sarah Silverman, R&B singer-songwriter Raphael Saadiq and nine-time grammy winner Norah Jones. Tickets for most of the events range from $10-$35.

Harlem Arts Advocacy Week
Celebrate Harlem Arts Advocacy Week with a free concert this Saturday afternoon with Kwame And The Uptown Shakedown at Aaron Davis Hall. There is also a full schedule of tours and lectures this weekend.

"Ella" the Musical
It's the last chance to hear the story of jazz legend Ella Fitzgerald at the Queens Theatre. The new musical "Ella" wraps up its performances Sunday. Tickets start at $25.

Open House New York
Open House New York is once again opening the doors of houses and other architectural and design gems all over the five boroughs this weekend for FREE!

Fall Festival At Randall's Island
Check out the Fall Festival at Randall's Island with lots of autumn-themed activities for kids and adults. Admission is $15.

Water Tank Project
At the David Zwirner Gallery on 535 West 20th Street, get a preview of a major public art project coming to a water tank near you in May.

"The idea is to wrap 100 of the most visible water tanks in New York City on the issue of water and sustainability," says Mary Jordan, the founder of the Water Tank Project.

These images are made by city students working with Studio In A School and they will join works by famous artists when the main project is unveiled this spring.

Tango Fever
The new dance play "Tango Fever" sizzles at Teatro LATEA at 107 Suffolk Street at the Lower East Side's Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center. It runs through Sunday and tickets start at $30.

Broadway Impact Marathon Fundraiser
