Stray Kat Gallery
Check out the pop up art gallery Stray Kat in Chelsea Market. You are sure to be energetically welcomed by the creative duo of Stella Michaels and Zane Fix. She does colorful abstract painting. He calls his work Jap-pop combining traditional Japanese imagery with America pop icons like David Bowie and Audrey Hepburn. And even if you don't buy anything at least ask for a business card on the way out. It's a slice of the real Stella Michaels' original.
