Actor Lindsay Lohan was charged with third-degree assault Thursday morning after she allegedly hit a woman in a Chelsea nightclub.
Lohan was arrested around 4 a.m. at Club Avenue, after investigators say she got into a shouting match with another clubgoer and then struck the woman's face.
The woman did not need medical attention.
This latest brush with the law comes two months after Lohan was accused of but never charged with clipping a man with her car at the Dream Hotel in Chelsea.
Lohan is still on probation in Los Angeles stemming from her jewelery theft a year-and-a-half ago.
Her latest film, "Liz And Dick," premiered Sunday on Lifetime.
