Leandra's Law, a bill proposed by Governor David Paterson that would make it a felony to drive drunk with kids in the car, has been pulled from the agenda of next week's special sessions.

The assembly wants drivers with kids in the car to face felony charges only if they have a blood alcohol content of 0.18, more than twice the legal limit.

The law is named after Leandra Rosado, 11, seen above, who was killed last month in a drunk driving crash.

Carmen Huertas, 31, has been indicted on charges of manslaughter and drunk driving.
