Bernard Madoff, the famed money manager accused of fraud, will remain out on bail, a judge ruled today.

However, the judge set new conditions for his release. Madoff now has a curfew – which requires him to be in his Manhattan apartment from 7 p.m. until 9 a.m.; he is also required to wear an ankle-monitoring bracelet.

Madoff was required to find two additional co-signers for his bail by today, but was been unable to come up with any. His lawyers now have until Monday to come up with the additional paperwork.

Madoff is accused of running a $50 billion Ponzi scheme.

Yesterday, the Securities and Exchange Commission chairman blasted his own agency's failure to investigate Madoff's business, and asked the commission's inspector general to conduct a full review.
