Republicans unveil state-of-the-art stage for national convention
TAMPA - Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus and convention Chief Executive Officer William Harris unveiled the final stage for the Republican National Convention on Monday. For the first time in convention history, the stage will include 13 LED panels creating a large-scale backdrop with video capabilities.
“Our convention will connect with people across America and around the world from right here on this stage through speakers and these incredible screens,” Priebus said.
The Republican National Convention will take place Aug. 27-30 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum, where Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan will accept the party's presidential and vice presidential nominations.
