Jurors in the trial of the so-called "Cannibal Cop" wrapped up Day 2 of deliberations Friday.

Gilberto Valle is accused of conspiring to kill, capture and eat several women, including his wife.

Jurors sent the judge several notes regarding evidence and testimony.

Valle's lawyers said are not reading anything into it.

"It's impossible to read into jury notes, so we're just going to let them deliberate," said defense attorney Julie Gatto.

"I've been doing this a long time, and you always try to speculate about a jury's notes and what it means, and you can't," said defense attorney Robert Baum. "It's just that simple."

Defense attorneys say Valle's thoughts were all just a fantasy, but prosecutors say Valle used police computers to find information about possible targets and was getting ready to act.

Valle could spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted on the top charge of conspiring to kidnap.
