A New Jersey man is under arrest after being accused of conspiring with the police officer charged with plotting to kidnap and cook women.

Michael Vanhise, 23, is due in Manhattan federal court later today.

He was arrested Friday morning in connection with the case of Gilberto Valle.

Valle, 28, was arrested in October, he's accused of planning to kidnap, torture, and kill women then eat their body parts.

The U.S. Attorney says Valle allegedly would have snatched a woman and brought her to Vanhise to be sexually assaulted.

Valle is charged with conspiracy to commit kidnapping and illegally accessing the National Crime Information Center database.
