Dozens of guns are now off the street thanks to a gun buyback in Brooklyn hosted by Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes, Councilwoman Diana Reyna and the NYPD.
The weapons turned in on Saturday include a Tec-9 semi-automatic and a Ruger A-R mini-14 assault rifle.
Seven guns were loaded and eight handguns had their serial numbers filed down.
Anyone who turned in a working gun received a $200 bank card with no questions asked.
Rifles and shotguns were exchanged for a $20 bank card.
