With a funeral for their teenage son planned for Saturday, the parents of Bronx police shooting victim Ramarley Graham released a pre-recorded interview Thursday in which they said they have still not received answers about the incident.

The lawyers representing Graham's parents hired an independent producer and a media company to interview their clients, saying that they did not want them to relive the February 2 shooting by answering questions for multiple reporters.

Officers from the street narcotics unit radioed that Graham, 18, had a gun after seeing him adjust his waist band. Video Surveillance on his home shows the teen entering the 229th Street house, police running behind.

When they couldn't get in, they went through a back door and up to Graham's second floor apartment. Police say he ran into the bathroom, where he was shot once.

No gun was found, and police say the teen was dumping marijuana down the toilet.

Graham's parents, Franclot Graham and Contance Malcolm, say that they were treated with disrespect at the local police precinct, and that the victim's maternal grandmother, who was present at the shooting, received excessive questioning from police.

"They wouldn't let [my mother] out. Another police officer tried to restrain me and put my arms behind my back. I started screaming, 'They're going to kill me like they killed my son. Let me go, let me go,'" Malcolm says in the taped interview. "And I'm doing that, I'm holding onto my mom, and the other officer was pulling her back into the room and locked the door."

"The officer was looking at us and giggling, just smiling, just laughing like it was Christmas Eve and they were about to have a Christmas party," says Franclot Graham in the taped interview.

The parents say their son, who they call Marley, wasn't a bad kid and that he had dreams of being in the music industry. They say that dream was cut down by a police officer's bullet.

They intend to file a lawsuit.

Ramarley Graham's wake is scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday at the Crawford Memorial United Methodist Church at 3751 White Plains Road in Wakefield.

His funeral will also be held at the Crawford Memorial United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
