Lawyers for a Queens man charged with plotting to blow up synagogues in the city are asking a judge to toss out the case.

The attorneys for Ahmed Ferhani, 26, seen above middle, have filed papers in federal court alleging police entrapment.

They say hate crime charges and a rarely used state terrorism law have been misused.

Prosecutors have until January to respond to the claim.

Investigators say Ferhani and 20-year-old Mohamed Mamdouh were caught on a wiretap conspiring to bomb synagogues and buy weapons from undercover officers.

They say the men have not been linked to any terror groups.

Both men have pleaded not guilty.
