The New York City Police Department is searching for a Bronx mother of four who has been missing since Friday.

Tina Adovasio was last seen leaving her home on Edison Avenue in Schuylerville around 9 p.m., allegedly following an argument with her husband.

Sources say her husband, Edwin Coello, called 911 to report his wife was missing.

According to sources, Coello, a former NYPD housing officer, told police he had argued with his wife – and that she left and said she was staying out. They also say Coello is not officially a suspect and he is not currently being questioned.

Sources told NY1 a man was caught on a blurry surveillance tape dragging a large duffel bag from Adovasio's home the night she vanished.

"I saw her at the gym," said one neighbor. "We both work out at the New York Sports Club. It was like 4 o'clock in the afternoon. That's the last time I saw her. I saw her and her son. They were both at the gym. It's a tragic story. I just found out on Monday what had been going on. That she's been missing since Friday night."

"It's sad," said another neighbor. "I don't know any details of why she's missing or anything but I hope she's found safe. You don't want to see a child go without their parent."

Adovasio's children range in age from five to 16 years old.

Coello was suspended from the NYPD in 2000, amid allegations he had abused his first wife. He then resigned from the force.

Adovasio is 40 years old, 5-feet-5-inches tall and 135 pounds with a slim build. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and boots.
