A flash mob of about 3,000 people dressed in white suddenly appeared at Lincoln Center last night for dinner.
Those taking part registered online but weren't actually told where it would happen until just before it started at 7 p.m.
The "Diner en Blanc" event was so popular organizers had to create a waiting list.
This is the second year in a row the event has been held in the city.
It's part of a tradition which started in Paris back in 1988.
Similar pop-up dinners will also be staged in Philadelphia and Chicago this week.
