Police are investigating the shooting death of a man inside a Brooklyn clothing store.

Officers were called to Valentino Fashion on Fifth Avenue in Bay Ridge around 11:15 p.m. Friday and found the 65-year-old man shot in the neck.

The man, identified by police as Mohamed Gebeli, was pronounced dead at the scene.

An area resident said the neighborhood is generally quiet.

"In 18 years, I haven't seen anything this drastic," the resident said. "I mean, car wrecks, a fight here or there, but never anything (like) a life taken like this. I haven't seen it."

Police have not given a motive for the shooting.
