Nearly a dozen city firefighters were hurt early Friday morning while battling a fire in Upper Manhattan.
More than 150 firefighters were called to the three-alarm fire just before 3 a.m. at a two-story house located at 531 West 217th Street in Inwood.
Flames were seen shooting out of a manhole, but it's unclear if the fire started underground.
The fire was brought under control about an hour and a half later.
All of the firefighters' injuries are said to be minor; no civilians were hurt.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
