NY1 VIDEO: Members of the United War Veterans Council donated food, clothing and gave handwritten cards to dozens of Army National Guard members at the Staten Island Armory in Castleton Corners on Saturday in celebration of Valentine's Day. The volunteers traveled to Washington D.C. Sunday to distribute more gifts to military hospitals and bases.
