The non-profit group GrowNYC held its seasonal Stop N' Swap in Chinatown on Saturday, to help New Yorkers reuse items and act in an environmentally friendly way.

Participants said the swap meet could offer something for everyone.

"This is great because you can find some other small household things and great stuff like that," said one New Yorker.

"I'm kind of into arts and crafts, so I try to go after things like markers or ribbons or papers that I could find useful and turn it into new things, new artwork," said another.

"Anything that's left, we go through and find a charity that can use it or we make sure that it gets recycled. Pretty much nothing goes to waste," said Christina Salvi of GrowNYC.

The next Stop N' Swap is set for next Sunday on Staten Island. For more information, visit grownyc.org/swap.
