The local organization Lifespire celebrated 60 years of service to New Yorkers with developmental disabilities, while honoring one of NY1's own.
The non-profit, which offers mental health, residential and family support services, held its 11th annual fundraising event at the Garden City Country Club Monday.
NY1 Executive Editor Melissa Rabinovich was honored at the fundraiser, for her continued support and volunteerism for the organization and for people with developmental disabilities.
