Bookworms came together Saturday at the annual Harlem Book Fair for a celebration of literature.

The fair on West 135th Street allowed authors a chance to show their work and autograph books for fans, including NY1 anchor Cheryl Wills.

"It's really an honor to be here, and not only to publicize my book, but to hear all the other great authors who were here and to learn the great stories that make this country what it is," said Wills.

"This is a way for us as first-time authors, and virtual unknowns to come out and meet the people and to get the word about our product out," said Roschelle McKenzie, the author of "Night Before Dawn."

"We've all expressed how much we've enjoyed being here and meeting our favorite authors, and interacting. It was pretty awesome," said a visitor.

Wills signed copies of her book, "Die Free: A Heroic Family Tale."
