Some of the prized possessions of entertainer Lena Horne are about to hit the auction block.

Doyle New York is auctioning off a wide range of articles from Horne's former Upper East Side Apartment.

Some of the items include a Sarmi red and purple evening dress that is valued between $100 and $150.

A Deanna Hamro cuff has a similar value.

Some of her furniture is also up for sale, like a Louis Vuitton trunk that is painted and monogrammed with the label "HHR Honolulu."

Horne's fine art collection is also being auctioned, including an abstract painting by African-American artist Charles Alston.

Horne, who died last year at the age of 92, was born in Brooklyn and started performing in Harlem at the age of 16.

The auction will be held on February 23. For more information, visit doylenewyork.com.
