Mayor Michael Bloomberg is teaming up with a legendary New York superhero to get the word out about the City's efforts to help the unemployed.
In a specially released edition of "Spiderman," the mayor gives out-of-work Peter Parker some job advice, telling the Queens native about the city's service "WebForce1," which provides job training and counseling.
Of course, in between job advice, Parker as Spiderman, finds time to fight two supervillains.
With the web-slinger by his side, the mayor said he's thrilled to see the comic book version of himself.
"If you haven't read it yet, I've got to tell you, the story is great, the artwork is rich, and compelling and Marvel even gets the Mayor's rugged good looks down perfectly," Bloomberg said.
The mayor will be featured in two more comics.
