A street vendor from Queens is the big winner at this year's Vendy Awards on Governors Island.
Freddy Zeidaies who runs the King of Falafel stand on 30th Street and Broadway in Astoria won the 2010 Vendy Award.
NY1 anchor Pat Kiernan emceed the 6th annual event honoring the city's best street food vendor.
This is Zeidaies’ first win. He was also a finalist in 2007 and 2009.
