NY1 VIDEO: The Department of Education eliminated school bus service for some students in third through sixth grades at P.S. 229 in Queens, forcing some Woodside students to cross the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway's underpass and walk nearly a mile to get to class. The children's parents plan to file a lawsuit against the DOE by the end of this week.
