Advocates for world peace took their message across the Brooklyn Bridge to City Hall on Monday.
It's part of a global initiative to end wars, nuclear weapons, and violence.
A group of 25 people began the march in New Zealand in October and are circling the globe, meeting up with students, religious leaders and other advocates at each stop.
"One sixth of the people in the world are going hungry right now. And at the same time, one and a half trillion dollars are being spent on weapons. That's a crazy situation. And at the same time, we're about to send more troops to Afghanistan," said Chris Wells of World Without Wars.
Organizers say they will finish the march in Argentina on January 2nd.
