In honor of National Mammography Day, St. Vincent's Comprehensive Cancer Center offered free breast exams Friday.
The third Friday of October is National Mammography Day, as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
According to the city, about a quarter of New York women over 40 have not recently had a mammogram.
