Queens Library to Expand Free Google Tablet-Lending Program

The Queens Library is expanding its free program that lends Google tablets to customers.

The community library on 71st Avenue in Forest Hills will begin lending tablets on October 22.

A week later, the Flushing Library on Main Street will begin offering them.

Other libraries will be added in the coming weeks.

The loans are free to anyone with a Queens library card. You can borrow them for a month with three possible renewals.

First-time borrowers must sign an agreement and show photo ID.

The tablets can access e-books and e-magazines.

Charter Spectrum customers get full access
to all our video, including our live stream.
