Man Dies In Queens Hit-And-Run Accident

Police were looking for the driver who struck and killed a pedestrian in Queens Friday morning.
Police said it happened at the intersection of 149th Place and Sanford Avenue in Flushing.
When they arrived at the scene, police found a 30-year-old man lying unconscious in the street. He died a short time later.
They said the man was hit by a vehicle that traveled southbound on 149th Place, then fled east on Sanford Avenue.
No arrests were made Friday.
