Lower Manhattan will be host a major public celebration of art tomorrow.
The River To River Festival and The Drawing Center will host a series of drawing workshops at three venues.
Organizers say it will change the way people think about drawing.
"We use all different kinds of canvases," says River To River Executive Producer Jody Kuh. "This year, we have an activity in Battery Park where participants will be given bottles of water with blue pigment in them and as they stroll around lower Manhattan, their drawings are created on the ground. Also, here in the winter garden, we're going to have an activity where people are drawing on old music scores and those drawings are interpreted by the Flux Quartet into music."
The Big Draw is free of charge and will be held tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit www.rivertorivernyc.com.
