Ski Resorts Pile On The Perks For Early Trips To The Slopes
You may not have picked out your pumpkin yet, but ski resorts across the country are piling on the perks for early season visits. NY1's Valarie D'Elia filed the following Travel with Val report. Whistler British Columbia will host the 2010 Winter Olympics, and you can preview the runs the athletes will be tearing up if you book before November 15th to save 35 percent on a visit this season. Packages include hotel and lift tickets, along with free skiing and rentals for kids 12 and under.

Back in the United States, Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort and Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort will offer a special Learn to Ski/Ride package from December 1st through 19th. For just $25, beginners will receive a lesson, equipment rental, and a limited-access lift ticket.
